Skilled Migration

Points-tested visas for skilled professionals. The 189 is independent (no state sponsorship required), the 190 requires state/territory nomination for extra points, and the 491 is a regional provisional pathway with a 5-year regional work requirement before PR.

  • Signed employment contract with salary details
  • Labour market testing evidence (ANZSCO requirements)
  • Evidence occupation is on relevant skills list
  • English proficiency evidence
 

Business innovation requirements

  • Successful business career with net assets of AUD 800K+
  • Business owned and managed for at least 2 of last 4 years
  • Annual turnover of at least AUD 500K in at least 2 of last 4 years
  • Score of 65+ on the Business Innovation & Investment points test

We support both employers seeking to sponsor overseas workers and
professionals looking for sponsored opportunities.

Subclass 482 — TSS Visa streams

  • Short-Term Stream

    For occupations on the Short-Term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL). Limited to two grants and no direct permanent residence pathway, but exceptions apply.

     
  • Medium-Term Stream

    For occupations on the Medium and Long-Term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL). Eligible for Employer Nomination (186) permanent residence after 3 years.

     
  • Labour Agreement Stream

    For employers with a labour agreement allowing them to sponsor workers outside the standard TSS framework. Requires Department pre-approval.

     

Employer becomes a Standard Business Sponsor

The employer applies for SBS approval. We assist employers with all documentation and the approval process.

Nomination is approved

The employer nominates the position. We ensure the occupation, salary (TSMIT), and Labour Market Testing evidence are correct.

Worker lodges visa application

We prepare and lodge the visa application with all supporting documents — skills, English, health, and character evidence.

Visa granted & work begins

Upon grant, the worker can commence employment. We advise on any conditions, reporting obligations, and the PR pathway timeline.
